Every member of our ensemble has done extensive degree work at the highest level conservatories and universities and all have been performing as orchestral musicians and soloists for years. I am a professional cellist currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After ten years of playing with orchestras and chamber ensembles, I realized that my passion for planning and performing in unique settings was best realized in creating my own ensemble. With the help of co-manager and violinist Gyongyver Petheo we began White Pines Entertainment in 2014 with the vision of providing outstanding personal service and delivering flawless performances for weddings and events. It has quickly blossomed into a premiere performance service, booking events years in advance.
When I am not busy planning and performing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful children. I am so excited about what this journey has brought so far and look forward to the future of continued excellence. Hello, my name is Georgina. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my company. My original name is Gyöngyvér, and since my Hungarian name is so difficult to pronounce, my clients call me Georgina. I am owner of White Pines Entertainment, Bay Area All Strings & Brass and Columbine Entertainment.
My friend Annamaria and I formed our first string quartet in Budapest, Hungary over twenty five years ago. When we moved to the U.S. we reformed our group and named it the Columbine String Quartet. Throughout the years I have worked with hundreds of clients and their various requests resulted in the expansion of my business. I now run a full-service booking agency with classical, jazz and variety groups. I work with professional musicians who are very experienced. They have performed hundreds of special events in the past. We love music and hope that you will enjoy making it a part of your ceremony and reception.
