Katherine and Drew were married in a beautifully traditional church ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They selected a string trio to perform for their ceremony and we were just so thrilled we could be a part of this couple’s perfect day!
We performed classical favorites for their prelude music, and then played Bach “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desire” for the seating of the mothers. Then, the phenomenal church organist played for Katie’s big entrance! Katie was absolutely gorgeous, and even surprised her mom with a red rose and hug when she stepped up to the front!
The First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor was founded in 1826, but the current building wasn’t built until 1938. It is a gorgeous sanctuarly, complete with beautiful woodworking and stone, and it makes for an exceptional backdrop for a wedding ceremony.
Tracy and Riva from Tracy and Riva Photography captured every moment of the ceremony and reception. You can check out more photos from their wedding day here! The ceremony was classic and timeless, and then after they said their “I Dos” they were whisked off in a Rolls Royce to the Detroit Athletic Club for a fantastic night of celebrating!
Their wedding so timeless and classic and we are so overjoyed that we could be a part of it.
until next time!
